This website does not ask you for any personal data. There is no contact form, no registration form and no newsletter sign-up on it, and it does not set any cookies of its own.
What it does do is show you a video and a map that are hosted by other companies. When your browser loads those, and when it loads the typefaces this site uses, it contacts those companies directly — and they can see your IP address. Everything below explains that.
Nothing, directly. We do not run forms, we do not profile visitors, we do not run advertising, and we do not use analytics on this website.
Three services are loaded by your browser when you visit certain pages. We do not send them any information about you; your browser contacts them itself, and in doing so reveals your IP address and basic technical information such as your browser and operating system.
Each of these is operated by a company outside our control and each has its own privacy notice. If you would rather they did not load, most browsers and privacy extensions can block them; the rest of the site will still work, though the video, the map and the typefaces will not appear as intended.

Conference registration and abstract submission are not handled on this website. When those open, they will be run through a separate service with its own privacy notice, which you should read at that point.
This notice describes the website as it is today. It will be updated when the site starts doing something it does not do yet — a registration form, for instance.
